My biggest question is how do you get the mohawk to stand up? I know it's a wefted jumbo braid..but how do you keep it from being all limp and lifeless?

So beautiful! Is this built on a resin base? If so, who did you get the resin base from? I love the shape, and would like to use that shape for my own canine/wolf fursona I'm making for LAC in July.
